What data we use and why
If you subscribe, we use your email address to send confirmation and updates about the development and launch of ARVEN fly lines. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Subscribing is voluntary; we cannot subscribe you without your email address and consent. You do not need to subscribe to browse the website.
We record the request date, source, your chosen language for communications and the version of the consent wording accepted. Confirmation takes place through the link sent by Brevo. These records help us demonstrate the request and manage your subscription.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address, access date and request information, to serve pages and protect the service from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining an available and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you contact us, we process the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, based on our legitimate interest in answering it or, where you request information with a view to entering into a contract, the pre-contractual steps you request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We will not use enquiries to subscribe you to updates.
Service providers and international transfers
We use Cloudflare for website hosting, delivery and security, and Brevo to manage subscribers and send emails. They may access the data needed to provide those services. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where legally required.
These providers use infrastructure and subprocessors that may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can request information about the applicable safeguards by emailing the controller. See also Cloudflare’s data processing agreement and Brevo’s data processing terms.
Retention
We retain your subscription while you wish to receive these updates and the project continues to serve this purpose. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending communications and retain only the minimum data needed to respect your opt-out and, for the applicable statutory periods, demonstrate consent or address liabilities. Unconfirmed requests are deleted when they are no longer needed to complete signup.
Enquiries are retained while being handled and, where applicable, for the periods required to address liabilities. Technical data is retained only as long as needed to operate the service and resolve security incidents, according to the provider’s configuration.
Your rights and unsubscribing
You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email or by emailing the controller. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
You can use the same email address to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability, where applicable. We will only request additional information to verify your identity if necessary. We will normally respond within one month; any extension permitted by law will be communicated within that period.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Automated decisions
We do not use your data for commercial profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. The form includes technical checks to reduce abusive submissions.
